FAQs

  • I combine trauma-informed therapy, EMDR intensives, and nervous-system-aware personal training to support healing that’s both emotional and embodied. There’s no pressure to perform, no judgment—and no need to explain your identity or hold it all together. My approach is built to meet high-responsibility, heart-centered people where they are.

  • Therapy and personal training are two distinct services I offer. Therapy focuses on emotional healing, trauma recovery, and nervous system regulation through talk-based sessions or EMDR intensives. Personal training supports your physical well-being through gentle, nervous-system-informed movement—designed to help you reconnect with your body without pressure or performance.

You can choose one or the other, or explore integrating both. During our consult, we’ll talk about your goals, needs, and capacity, and together decide which path feels most supportive right now.

  • That’s a great question. While I’m both a licensed therapist and a certified personal trainer, I don’t serve in both roles with the same client. This boundary protects your care and honors professional ethics.

If you're working with me as a personal training client and it becomes clear that therapy would be supportive, I’ll connect you with a trusted, trauma-informed provider who aligns with your needs. I want you to feel fully supported—even if that means building a team of care around you.

  • Yes! I offer trauma-informed therapy and personal training online, using secure video platforms. If you’re located in Maryland, D.C., or the surrounding area, in-person sessions are also available.

  • An EMDR intensive is a focused, trauma-processing session that goes deeper than traditional weekly therapy. It’s ideal if you’ve done some healing work already, but still feel stuck in your body or emotional patterns. Intensives are structured to honor your time, energy, and nervous system.

  • That’s actually the perfect time to reach out. You don’t need to have a clear plan to begin. Whether you’re feeling numb, exhausted, or stuck in survival mode, I’ll help you explore what kind of support makes sense for you right now.
